September 6 · Our featured pear this week at the farmstand is a variety named Aurora, which is one of the world’s highest-quality pear varieties. It has an aromatic flavor, keeps well in storage into the late part of the year, and works well in desserts. Our other pear offerings include Bartlett and Gorham.
