Precision cultivator
Using our new precision cultivator, which can be operated in such a way as to take out precisely the weeds that need to be removed, while leaving undisturbed the desirable plants. Stay tuned for more new precision agriculture, including our new weed-roller machine, to debut later in the summer.

We customize the mulch to each crop. In this case, the strawberry field gets white-colored mulch, which will help to conserve water and reduce the need to do weeding later in the season.

Organic mulch
By grinding up the trimmings after we prune the trees in the orchard, we start off the growing season with an organic mulch that helps reduce soil erosion, prevents the soil from drying out, and keeps the plants healthier.
We are closing our orchards for the season
Following an active season of pick-your-own apples, we are closing our orchards for the season. We will continue to sell apples and pears at our farmstand as long as we have them, together with our pumpkins, apple cider, baked goods, eggs, and our signature donuts.
