We protect our small cucumber plants in the greenhouse, where they will eventually produce 8-inch to 10-inch seedless cucumbers that will be ready for harvest at the end of May.

Conserve water
We conserve water and use the sun’s rays to help warm up the soil with this layer of white mulch.

Our baby tomato plants in germinating mix. Later on in the season we will plant these outdoors in the field.
Greenhouse Shade
June 30 · Toward midsummer we add some opaque shade material to the greenhouse glass to help keep the temperatures down inside the greenhouses.
