Long Island’s historic cider press

September 25 ·  Wickham’s Fruit Farm is the home of Long Island’s historic cider press, a rack-and-cloth press that has been squeezing out fresh cold-press apple cider for over 100 years.

Wagon ride to pick apples

September 22 ·  At Wickham’s Fruit Farm, we offer a family-friendly and kid-friendly experience. When you take a wagon ride to pick apples with us, the kids will enjoy riding the wagon through one of the most scenic farm landscapes on Long Island.

Apple cider

We make our hearty red apple cider in small batches. No two batches are alike, as we make each batch of cider with its own mixture of fruit direct from our orchard.

Wickham’s Fruit Farm

Wickham’s Fruit Farm provides ample off-highway parking at no charge, with three curb cuts along Route 25. When you come to pick apples with us, you will not have to park along the highway and walk alongside traffic to get to our property, and you can get back onto the road easily.

Apple butter

September 19 ·  Apple butter doesn’t get any fresher than when you make it the way we do, right here on our place using our own apples. Stop by the farmstand and take home some of our fresh apple butter today.

Wagon rides

September 18 ·  Looking for something to do with the kids with school closed Wednesday? Stop in at Wickham’s for some apple picking. Wagon rides are included.

Barn

September 18 ·  The view inside the barn. In former years, we hoisted hay from a trailer by means of a hook through the window shown, and then along a trolley system that can still be seen under the ridge, at the top of the ceiling.
