Junior tomato plant
This junior tomato plant is growing so fast, you can almost see the soil being thrown up around it.
Conserve water
We conserve water and use the sun’s rays to help warm up the soil with this layer of white mulch.
Popping up among the tree roots
Baby tomato plants
Our baby tomato plants in germinating mix. Later on in the season we will plant these outdoors in the field.
Organic mulch
By grinding up the trimmings after we prune the trees in the orchard, we start off the growing season with an organic mulch that helps reduce soil erosion, prevents the soil from drying out, and keeps the plants healthier.
Pruning trees
Marcelino, who has been pruning trees for us for over 25 years, prunes this peach tree in a way that will enable the sunlight to penetrate the tree’s canopy and the air to circulate within it, to help create large, flavorful peaches from it this coming peach season.
Season’s greetings
Season’s greetings and best wishes for the new year to all our customers and friends.
We will be closing the farmstand for the season early this year
Wednesday November 22 will be the last day of our regular season. We plan to be open Saturdays up until December 25 weather permitting.
