Seafood

August 9

Wickham’s heirloom cherry tomatoes and cucumbers go well with seafood. Cut each heirloom cherry tomato in half and slice the cucumbers. Serve with seared fish, cubed mango, and lumps of avocado.

Taffy

August 6

The high-ceilinged barn is a cool, dark and inviting place, an antipode to the sunlit outdoors this time of year. Look! It’s a tawny-haired animal, hiding out behind a stack of cardboard strawberry-shipping boxes.

Blackberry jam

August 4

Currently cooking blackberry jam. We make our blackberry jam right here on the premises out of blackberries we grow on our own land.

Berries

At the farmstand this month, our varied berry offerings include blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries. What’s your pleasure?

Whiteout white corn

Now on the stand: Whiteout white corn. This variety of sweet corn has the crispness that comes from being grown right here in Cutchogue on the same land where our farmstand is located.

Honey

July 28

Our honey goes well with coffee, tea, scones, and other baked goods. When you take home a couple bottles of our honey, bring home one of our wooden drip sticks to go with it.
