At Wickham’s Fruit Farm, we rotate our crops, so the soil has a chance to regain the organic material and nutrients it needs to grow flavorful fruit and vegetables. In the 2019 growing season, this particular field sees trellised apples growing on the left and right sides of the photo and melons in the middle, where in a different year, we will plant other crops in a different pattern on this field.
