Organic mulch
By grinding up the trimmings after we prune the trees in the orchard, we start off the growing season with an organic mulch that helps reduce soil erosion, prevents the soil from drying out, and keeps the plants healthier.
Pruning trees
Marcelino, who has been pruning trees for us for over 25 years, prunes this peach tree in a way that will enable the sunlight to penetrate the tree’s canopy and the air to circulate within it, to help create large, flavorful peaches from it this coming peach season.

Following an active season of pick-your-own apples, we are closing our orchards for the season. We will continue to sell apples and pears at our farmstand as long as we have them, together with our pumpkins, apple cider, baked goods, eggs, and our signature donuts.
