East End chefs have long told us they prefer our asparagus for its tenderness and flavor.
Here is an asparagus recipe to try, courtesy of Jane Cottrell:
Asparagus with Miso Butter:
- Roast Asparagus in oven at 325 degrees for 20 minutes.
- Mix equal parts miso paste and warm butter.
- Spread miso butter on a plate and place cooked asparagus on top.
- Serve with poached or fried egg on top.
